Other Factors Affecting Sizing - Abnormal Neck Curve

Kyphotic, Alordotic/Military Cervical Spine

These are medical (physiological) terms that most people are not familiar with unless they experience the affliction. If these conditions exist, proceed with extra care.

General Rule: Abnormal cervical curve or moderate limitation of cervical movement, it is advisable to proceed with one pillow size smaller than indicated, eg. Alordotic (straight-loss of neck curve) or Kyphotic (reversal of neck curve) especially back sleepers.

Lower Cervical Problem

People with lower cervical symptomatology, (arm or hand parenthesis/numbness or tingling), usually do better with less volume.
