Pillow for Pregnancy
The pregnant women becomes very uncomfortable as the baby grows.  She can find comfort using a supportive pillow that does not squirm away.

Because of the supportive nature of the round pillows the pregnant women finds support for the weight of the baby. When feeding the pillow gives great support to the arm and baby.

“I have two Align-Right Pillows which made sleeping during pregnancy much more bearable. I prop one under my stomach and the other behind my back. The support is much more comfortable than using a full-sized pillow or none at all. I plan on using my A-R pillow to prop my baby up when it is still newborn to prevent it from rolling over. I still use my second one for neck support, which is the reason I first purchased one. Thanks Judy!!”

My pregnancy and first months with a newborn and the Align-Right Pillow & a baby with GERD!

The Align-Right pillow was a saviour through-out my pregnancy and after. Providing comfort to both me and my newborn who had GERD, (gastroesophageal reflux disease). A baby with GERD experiences the regurgitation of the liquid content of the stomach backs up into the esophagus. The liquid usually contains acid and pepsin that are produced by the stomach so it is painful upon regurgitation. The ideal position for a baby with GERD is a slightly elevated one so that gravity works against this happening as much as possible. This is how the Align-Right Pillow brought comfort to my daughter when nothing else did!

The top right picture shows how I inclined the changing table as the doctor had suggested but this wasn’t working well enough so I used an Align-Right Car Roll. It was just the right size to keep my baby’s head elevated just a little more. The pillow even easily fit into my diaper bag so I took it everywhere I went! Then when my daughter got a little older and she was all dressed and ready to go out I would slip a child’s small pillow under her to keep her elevated while I put on my shoes and jacket because anyone with a GERD baby knows if you put your baby on her back for 2 seconds she will throw up. Lastly, even play time needed to be assisted by the Align-Right pillow. This time I used a back roll as it was a little longer and gave her more room to move back and forth. This pillow worked for me but I was always right beside my baby to ensure her safety. The Align-Right pillow does not advertise this for the use with babies but WOW, it sure did help when I used it with mine! Thanks Align-Right ~ Julie C.

Nursing:

A Large size Align-Right Pillow is usually used as a nursing pillow. A Medium size will work the same way for small structured women.
This pillow is totally machine wash and dry, comes with a white pillow case for a quick wash. It is recommended to purchase an extra case or two, for expected clean-ups.
Maternity Pillow for Nursing
Perfect pillow for nursing the baby……. My family have slept on an A-R Pillow for years. We take our trusted pillows with us everywhere we go, camping, hotels, staying with friends and to the hospital when delivering the babies. When our first son was born, I soon discovered that the A-R Pillow made a perfect comfy head rest for baby while nursing. It was so easy to position the baby comfortably with the pillow on my lap. It was much easier than the large cumbersome typical nursing pillows. I love this pillow!! Paulette B
